Even when the Chinese dev gets bopped they'll just shut one down and make another clone.
On top of that, both games are unrelated to Valve.
You have a repressive government that has hooks in ALL business there. It's one of their major sources of income, so do you think they'd have copyright laws that didn't involve copying like crazy?
It's how the country was created frankly.
I just hope they ban that China Dev.. with their already big name now it Will be a shame
Its likely their nature
It might have impact on investors and partners for those tournments, but that's about it.
As it's also China backed you must remember that EVERY company in China has CCP backing. Anyone who makes money in China is allowed to do so by the CCP and a condition of business is their representation in your compnay (especailly if you're a foreign company).
So if it gets outside tournamnents, you can absolutely bet it won't impact any chinese company who bungs their money behind it.
