Windows 11 is trash

I see so many people complaining on forums how this or that retro game doesn't work on Windows 11, while those same games run perfectly on Windows 10. Every single retro game I have works with Windows 10, so why should I bother upgrading to that garbage Faildows 11? I will stay on Windows 10 until it gets supported.

Yes i know....and there is only the software i installed & files from me listed as i already wrote.....i know sometimes it is hard to understand words....

If you try to disable that feature in personalization/start setting, the description is "show recommendation for tips, APP PROMOTION, and more"

Nope, where I work at Glastonbury festival - our campsite has a subscription because it works well for working with our staff.

this a rather new rig for 5k+
it runs good considering games but windows itself is slow AF, has been out of the box like that

Something is wrong then on your system or your install.
Windows 11 is not slow by default. It is as responsive as Windows 10, Win 8.1 and Windows 7 in all of it's tasks.

Try? It can easily be turned off. With a single mouse click.

Right now in the start menu.
Mine says "To show your recent files and new apps, turn them on in Settings. Launch Start setting"

On my home PC I'm rarely in the start menu. I have no use for it. If I want to launch something it's going to be in the taskbar.

Probably because Microsoft wants you to buy the full version. Discord is free but that doesn't stop it from advertising it's store item to me. Outlook does the same thing.

But I've used the free version for over a decade and Outlook doesn't care.
Also the web interface only has 1 ad. That is to upgrade the account. Well you get that one if you block all of the other ads which is still only 1 ad. That being the email that is first in your inbox.

windows 3.1 ran on 386. windows 3.0 ran on 286. windows 3.11 ran on 468, though some of those pcs was upgraded to windows 95.

astounding lack of awareness, if you use credit & debit card, insurance, brokerages, social security, tax systems, companies like visa, mastercard, jpmorgan chase, barclays, credit suisse, fidelity, bank of america, ups, heise, etc. if you use logistics services like sending stuff via airplane or shipping, dhl, fedex, etc.
then your transactions go through multiple such systems on ibm z machines.
