Windows 11 is trash

I see so many people complaining on forums how this or that retro game doesn't work on Windows 11, while those same games run perfectly on Windows 10. Every single retro game I have works with Windows 10, so why should I bother upgrading to that garbage Faildows 11? I will stay on Windows 10 until it gets supported.

i built my pc an put 11 straight away. had 10 on a laptop. 11 is way better

nah W11 is horribly slow... as in much, much slower as my old 12+ year old W7 rig (still the first install, figure that!)... DNGAF about support, I ran that W7 rig with not that many patches applied and it still works nicely, no firewall, virus scanner etc. - you don´t need that if you have a brain

it takes ages to get to see the contents of a folder and, god forbid, if you want a different sorting

I got this W11 rig and right away I had 0x00xxxx errors at shutdown and still get them every now and then

W11 is pure crap

That can all be disabled in just a couple minutes. That's not something that is a valid complaint.

you could use a third party start menu, like vistart. not sure if it works in windows 11 but, you could try it. best way to avoid ads in outlook is to use it through a browser and just leave it open at all times.

One of the main factors is that people do not know about the (up to) five Chipset Drivers which is seemingly one of the issues with Win11 Update 24H2.

People that do not maintain their systems properly (set it and forget it types) are those mainly seeing the issues.

I have Win11 and it isn't like that at all. Something is either wrong with your install or your system.
Folders open instantly for me and everything is smooth.


Also it's a good idea to have at least some firewall or anti virus running. Windows base versions have been improved a lot and are now on par with the good ones.

Open the widget and you'll see a bunch of ads

Open outlook and the first "email" you see is ads. This can only be removed if you subscribe to microsoft 365

I doubt that's the case, but even so - what does the majority doing anything have of any relevancy?

I still use it for the simple reasons of it is beneficial for me to do so for Festival work because there's a lot of peopleI work with on there and it just is easier to keep stuff in one place as it's already setup. Not just the emails but other things that link.

Sorry but I don't know what strawman you're trying to concoct or what excuse, but no it's plain old me, and I say and demonstrate evidence where I can if asked.
