Price History of Games

How do you check the price history of a game and how many times its been discounted?
I looked it up on google but i tried to follow it and dint get it. :(

Google says "You can click on an individual game and there will be a price history chart under the prices table. "

This site has price history of games on Steam.

Isnt there some kind of history that tells me what dates or when a particular game has gone on sale in the past and past prices on steam?

This site has price history of games on Steam.

SteamDB has price history for Steam where IsThereAnyDeal have price history for Steam and Steam key stores.

I thought steam had it's own built in price history of games? Is this not the case?

No. There are 3rd party browser plug-ins that you can use, if viewing the store through a browser, but Steam it's self does not display price history.

Closest there is, was a legal requirement in some countries, where it is required to list a price change with in some amount of time. Not sure of the specifics as I don't live in said country.
