Begging for family sharing to be 7, i know it seems greedy but that's all i ask. just one more

The new family sharing in beta is pretty great and honestly, i have no complaints about it, just shocked about just how many publishers that don't allow any form of sharing games. Rockstar, Ubisoft, Activision and EA. The usual suspects, i mean even sony allows family sharing on all their games including new releases but that's not why i'm writing this. I was recently put the new family sharing through it paces but as i added more members of my household we hit the limit with just one of us not being included. I added my dad, my 2 brothers and my sister, but my mom got an interest in the tetris effect game which my dad has and she usually plays it on his account. But this is sounding selfish and a little pushing it because we already have so much good happening with steam but i beg of you valve to just add one more person. I know someone will reply with you can just buy the game and we did for her but having her on family sharing would have shared a little which matters to no one but savings are savings. The most popular suv's are 7-seaters so why not 7 players. This is all i ask

At the end of the day, there has to be a limit somewhere. If they make it 7 for you, then the next person will want 8, then someone will claim to need 9. Then comes 10, 11 and 12.

Six is the limit which is more than generous considering what the feature allows you to do.

mother father sister brother younger-brother younger-sister and older grand parent, there's your 7, the rest don't matter as all categories are now covered.

So average is a family of 4 (rounded up) and we get two extra slots with Family Share for a total of 6.

I don't see any reason WHY it should be higher.

My father in-law is the middle child of 14 kids.

As was said, there as to be a limit. 6 is reasonable, due to the information I already provided.

your average maybe, not mine and i don't care about anyone's 14 kids, 7 contains all categories and that's all the leverage that should be given

If six of you cannot buy your mum Tetris the next time it's on sale, then you have bigger problems than having one more slot for family sharing.

In the old system you could share with up to 5 other users.
So its still the same with the new Family Share, you and 5 others.
Difference is now everyone shares with everyone in the family.

World average. Try reading the link.

If you don't care about his 14, why should Valve care about your 7?

So, again, Valve's 6 is fair. It is more then the world average and should be sufficient for most families.

sounds like someone is more worried about sharing a game for free, than actually purchasing the game.

maybe they should make it 2 for family sharing, this way more are forced to buy the game(s).

atleast read what i wrote before commenting, i bought her the game a while ago and i can buy her more, i'm just saying it would be nice for the number to be 7
