From another thread. It has instructions oh how to secure your account.
Valve would never tell you to transfer your items. They would just lock the account. The scammer is trying to get you to transfer items, so they can intercept it and switch it to a fake account they make, with the same profile image and name.
The message on your account is fake too. It was put there by the scammer. You would get a red banner at top, if it was really from Valve. It would not be posted on your profile for everyone to see.
Everything you trade you will lose to the scammer and you won't get it back.
ridiculou. I have contacted the Steam support 2 days ago, but they havent replied me yet...
Because that would include the warning from Steam that Valve doesn't use that to communicate with your or anybody else.
They put that ♥♥♥♥ in the place u put your hello it's me I like viyagaemgaem stuff
lol calm down with the fake stuff. Valve did not do this but a scammer. i wished people would pay attention. they will NEVER edit your profile for no reason. lol. if you did get caught cheating they won't announce it to all. there would be a message in the client. lol they fell for a scam. simple as that. they gave the information freely.
