can an account get terminated for too many "community bans" ?
my account recently got an alert because i was banned too many times from community hubs.
Mind you, i NEVER said hate speech or anything extreme. i simply express my beliefs (which appose the lefty agenda and i dont even say slurs or anything uncivilized), or i talk ♥♥♥♥ to trolls that spam game hubs (yet they dont get banned for spam) Mods have been abusing there power on me and its not fair. One time in the "nothing game" i said " " and i was banned for "saying nothing useful".

what im asking is, will my account get terminated if i keep getting banned from hubs and lose access to all my paid games?

Keep racking up community bans, then you get a life time community ban. Most that happens to an account is a life time community ban and restriction from adding games.

Escalation is usually 3 day, 7 day, 30 day, 1 year, permanent, though they could have made changes in the last two years.

It is incredibly hard to get the account terminated. I have only heard of it happening one time and the person really pushed for it to happen, to they point they were harassing support and threatening Valve employees.

no, it can't be terminated, but the more community bans you get the longer they become, i think the max is 5 years

you will still be able to buy and play games, you just won't be able to use the community features like posting on forums and submitting screenshots/artwork/guides/etc

thats a relief, after a while they straight up force your account into private and deny you any community privileges. thats what they did to me

a new game was recently uploaded to this platform for free and its literally a blank screen, if you go to the forums for the game called "nothing" you can see everyone is making "nothing" jokes and only i got banned for saying " "
You don't get banned for nothing, you get because you broke the community guidelines. And the moderators don't abuse their power. They saw what you posted and decided that it was offensive. Like it or not, they're in control. If you don't like the decision, you can try to appeal it. But given what you said, that's unlikely to happen. Sorry but the ban is likely going to stand as is. You crossed over a line and got punished for it. That's how the world works.

Or help for the game, which is why i would think the game hubs are supposed to be the most useful. You get perma banned, they can ban you from all tech help on the game.

Too many community bans will eventually lead to a permanent one. But it has no impact on your ability to play your games

People are banned for spam a lot on Steam. I see it happen several times weekly. Just because they got away one time doesn't mean they never get banned.

Actually it does. One of my friends one time had a perma ban and couldn't even open Steam anymore. SO, he ended up just making a new account on a new PC.
I was told it can but its hard and must be manually reviewed to be perm.

that's an account lock, a different kind of ban which doesn't have anything to do with the forums

I think it's almost impossible to be perma banned (except for cheating). I think i was banned about 42 times on this very hub, and only once did i get a community ban.

And that only happened, being i was banned from a hub, and came here right after, and got banned again. That constituted a community ban, for like three days or something.

Cheating may be the big thing though.
