What to do with used Steam wallet cards?
Can they be recycled? I've been saving all mine for some random reason, idk why. Making little forts out of 'em got old pretty fast :spazwinky: :woodlehappy:

Or is it pretty much a chop up and turf kinda thing like with credit cards? Do we need to destroy them before ditching them?

They're probably made of PVC, and while PVC is recyclable, most curbside pickup services don't take it yet.

A recycling center may or may not take them, some do but is it worth the trouble?

Many of the issuers/manufacturers these days accept mail-backs. Check the manufacturer on your wallet card for their website to see if they offer something. My city's recycling accepts them with the plastic in my blue boxes, yours might as well.

Agh, shoulda thought of checking with the card maker first. Will do, and will post back with a yes or no.

I'd not bother but our stuff's picked up in blue bags once a week so the more loaded that one is the less that ends up in the black one :D

Actually I might be going off old info. Check your recycle bin. I just discovered that mine will take PVC.

PVC is #3 plastic. My city takes #1-#7 (any plastic pretty much)
