Hell its not even just Steam, it is the same nationwide.
Doesn't have to be this way.
I let my 16 yo nephew play on my account some times and he nets 0 kills.
He's a controller player on fortnite and COD. Good at those games.
FPS skill-ceiling is crazy high and cheaters want to be able to jump in and make a difference. They don't think about those of us who've had to grind for years, decades even, to get to where we are.
They do so in hopes of getting unbanned. If I'd have a dollar for each one lying I'd be pretty well off money wise.
It took an hour or two for my account to get unbanned.
One guy told me it was about "unlocks", and i guess that may make sense, unless getting caught for cheating is worth that. I mean it's not like they have money on the game. And its obvious here on PC, they're cheating. And so, it's just a matter never made sense to me.
Unlocks refer to weapon camos/skins.
But i laugh everytime somebody claiming that you will get banned for having a high dpi proves it showing somebody immitating a spinbot getting banned.
Like. you're replicating a behavior the AI is trained to pick up on and remove from the game. Don't cry when you inteionally trigger it
I don't think any reasonable person would intentionally set dpi that high to play.
The videos i have seen the user spins for a good minute or 2 before the ban triggers
At that point, it is considered griefing and rightfully Game banned.
We don't know the whole story, we can't see the whole context, the previous bans, warnings, posts removed...
All we can do is play he said, she said. Do they lie? Yes? No? Maybe?
Truth is we can guess, but we can't tell.
I think what OP means are people insisting their anti cheat bans are false
There's nothing to say anymore.
Trust is gone.
