Trying to add a Ubisoft Connect game...

I followed the instructions on a video and it says after linking go to steam, select the game and click on the Play button. That Play button is not showing up for me on the game page on steam. All Im getting is the Buy this game option
Ive close and reopened Steam, Ive checked that Ubisoft is linkied to steam,

that's not how it works, you have to buy the game on steam to play it on steam

Here are steps you can't mess up.

1. Buy game on Steam, and download the game.

2. Download & install Ubisoft connect launcher, then sign in to existing account, or if you never had an Ubisoft account you make one.

3. Launch the game from steam, it will ask if you want to link your game to your current logged in Ubisoft account. Please note there no undo button, make sure you use only the Ubisoft account you want your games tied to, and use the same Steam account as well. Making new accounts will not transfer games, nor will be able to play said games as games are tied to said accounts hence use the exact accounts you linked between Steam, and Ubisoft.

If you did something else, you need to explain in detail so we can understand your problem, and link video you were watching as we're not mind readers.

If you purchased the game on Ubisoft Connect, then you can't add it to your Steam library. Most you can do is create a non-Steam game link in the Steam Client to launch the game, but it will lack the features that you would have if you purchased the game on Steam, such as Steam achievement and trading cards.
