write on your profile you don't take new friends, most will stay away.
Never worked for me. Got as many if not even more then before when i tried that a while ago. Most people dont read profiles.
Now i just let the friend requests accumulate for a month or so and then delete them all.
Many also retract their friend request if they dont get an answer after a while.
But yeah, that setting would be nice and cant be that hard to code, just a auto refuse for all friend requests as long as its active.
I don't think scammers care whether I'm looking for friends or not.
I handle it the same but every time I get upset about it again
Accept, Block, Ignore.
Just block the users sending the unwanted invites.
Quite a minor thing to get upset about.
