Please let me block friend requests!

How can it be that after more than 10 years there is still no way to block friend requests?
I'm being added by 2-10 scammers a day, which is just annoying...
I know it goes down when I set my profile/inventory to private, but it's stupid that this is the only ways to protect yourself from that spam.

Without exception, every other client/game has a setting to block friend requests.

write on your profile you don't take new friends, most will stay away.

Most friend requests came because your inventory or games are public. Scammers can see which accounts have the most items.

Never worked for me. Got as many if not even more then before when i tried that a while ago. Most people dont read profiles.
Now i just let the friend requests accumulate for a month or so and then delete them all.
Many also retract their friend request if they dont get an answer after a while.

But yeah, that setting would be nice and cant be that hard to code, just a auto refuse for all friend requests as long as its active.

Just turn off the notifications and then ignore the whole thing. Eventually such requests expire anyway.

When you get an invite, you get 3 options
Accept, Block, Ignore.
Just block the users sending the unwanted invites.

I'm also baffled that there is no option to disable friend requests. I'm here to play video games, not to socialize with suspicious strangers on the internet.
