Oh... can Steam even search on "FPS" and then sort by Date of Release?
OMD3 graphics requirements looks high... but what's the point on Cartoons?
Maybe Sci-Fi? But any something with really nice graphics.
Some of the survival stuff looks nice, but most are slow-paced compared to FPS. Driving games are the opposite... took much time watching the road to appeciate the scenery. I think Witcher or something like that might nice, but still wrong genre.
Aliens Dark Decent is the best I spotted, but at only -38% and $25 it doesn't look that great. Plus good graphics kind of aren't if the lighting is bad.
I just tried DRG on my new machine... went from 11-30 FPS to 60 FPS which plays a lot cleaner, but going form "High Video" through "Ultra" to "Extreme" just does a better job of rendering huge polygons so that's not so great.
* - For those who've followed my posts, this is a bit hypocritical, in that I've many times said I don't care about graphics beyond Borderland 2 quality, but I thought I'd keep an open mind and try something out... if nothing else an exception to the rule.

another is Soldier of Fortune 2 Double Helix Gold Edition

for coop play, the graphics are very heavily detailed on some maps, Sven Coop is another good one

Back in these early 2000's these graphics looked "REALISTIC", in that sneak peek in where Gordon used an elevator in City 17 near the Train Station and zooms in and out with his weapon.. it is a hard to find OFFICIAL trailer, it was THAT HL2 Trailer ..
While Sven Co-op is HL1, Synergy is HL2
