Starfield won the "innovative" award.
What a time to be alive. Haha.

It's more innovative than the many knee-jerk threads springing up after awards or anything else people can vote on.

People gotta get those Jester awards, like any bad farmer; they think now is the perfect time to get em
That's the point of a popularity vote.
Girls, in the same year when Baldur's Gate III was released, very few games can speak about innovation. When it comes to the awards, by that logic, for Starfield to win the "innvoative award" would be the same as to winning the multiplayer award.

Save Baldur's gate is not innvoative given its just Dungeons and Dragons 10th Edition as confirmed by its own developers so not only is it not innovative, its not an original idea.

Less about being based on D&D and more about it being a formula similar to their previous games.

A game can still be based in the D&D universe and still be innovative.
90% of voters didn’t even read the words and just clicked on a random game they have heard of to get Steam points or whatever it was this year.

Innovative gameplay, not idea. Baldur's Gate III's gameplay is way more complex than all Bethesda's games combined, and yet I love The Elder Scorolls IV - Oblivion, but it is a fact. Wastelands walking simulator is not innovative for sure, and you fail to understand the merit and concept of that award cathegory for sure.

I did the same for some cathegories, where I didn't have any favourites, like everyone does, but I still paid enough attention not to cast ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ votes like in the case of wasteland walking simulator, and actually give a credit where is due.
I thought this was just an extension of the game awards, which in turn was an extension of an advertisement arm, which in turn was an extension of rich studios?

Did I miss something? Darnit.

98% of all statistics are made up on the spot.

Got something to support your 90%?

That just shows Steam awards don't matter for ♥♥♥♥.
Hogwarts Legacy was robbed by trash games sadly..

All games were made using digital 3d models that displayed on a screen. Not a single new idea in gaming. No game should be awarded.
