If your "friends" are judging you based on the games you are playing, they are not your friends. My friends don't judge me for playing adult themed games. I have bondage-themed games and my friends saw them. We are still friends.
You've had this pointed out to you before.
There's clear settings within your account that removes the ability to see them.
Then edit your preferences so it doesn't shown porn games? And then edit it back when you want to see porn games? It's not some kind of contract you have to sign in blood that lasts an eternity. It's a checkbox on a website.
I mean, Steam wtf!!! I don't care about filters; that should not be here!
This is unacceptable on a gaming platform!!!
i dont see porn its switched off..... and cant be bother turning it on and off...
not my loss... i aint trying to sell the porn games..
adult options for adults would be nice for a change..... .
enjoy
It's acceptable and perfectly normal. If you don't want to see adult content, why did you turn off the filters?
As I remember, there was something about violence, profanity, and things as such, but I may have missed the "adult content." thing.
Kids are on Steam, for fck sake. If they didn't disable it, would it show up? Isn't that not disabled by default? wow
I never expected to see literal fcking on Steam without ANY warning.
We all watch porn here and there but come to the front, men; this is Steam—a gaming platform.
*Don't get this as me oposing you. cheers

That last option is disabled by default. You have to opt-in to actually see adult-only games on Steam.

In that case, you want to know this. If you go to https://store.steampowered.com/preferences , you will see 2 columns of 5 checkboxes which determine the content you want or don't want to see. The last two rows are unchecked by default. "Porn" does not appear on your store and community feed unless you enable it manually. By default, sexually explicit content is disabled. So if you are seeing sexually explicit artwork on a community page which is not marked as adult only and hidden by default unless enabled, the poster is breaking the rules. That is on the poster, not Steam/Valve. Whoever posts explicit content on a community hub which is not marked as "adult only" is risking a ban at the very least.
