warframe is a hard one for me to like, I love the gameplay, but then 24 hours in and I have gotten 0 new weapons or frames or even parts to make them... its one of the best rpg shooters caked in the absolute worst grind possible to extend how long you play for, then add in what feels like a preditorrilly small inventory. which honestly wouldn't be bad if, and correct me if i'm wrong, the only way to gain power in the game is to level up a multitude of items/weapons/frames, which you will have to get rid of ones you like or want to keep to have ones that you are using just to grind more power
I mean I played it for 24 hours and side stepped all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ as much as I could but I hit a point where I could no longer side step it and it sapped all fun from the game, its possible im playing it wrong but whenever I asked that question I get 'yes you are read the wiki' like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I read the wiki and and this is the answer I got what am I doing wrong?
is this game still playable?
Well, I have spent almost 4 K hours in Warframe, there are some things new players have to get over with, but when it comes to shooter/looter, I dare to say, Warframe is the definition of it.
Anthem? Sorry to say, as I loved the game myself, Anthem is dead, I believe it is still up though.
have to ask, I have the game and played it back when I had... either a 5770 1gb or a 280x on a phenom II 955, so I was in no real hurry to play its end game, kind of especially because it gutted the sword so much from the first game, I actually played that 100% sword outside of I think 2 instances where I was forced to use a gun... I know there was some aspects of looter shooter in that game, but it came in the form of very minor upgrades, so I never paid much attention.
do that upgrades in that game ever feel tangible or are they always so minor its hard to notice?
do you have any idea where there is a good video to show off how to play the game in a way where i doesn't feel like i'm going nowhere? I dont need into to systems guides though its been so long I may need to look them up, I need soemthing that at least tells me how to progress at all.
... and unlike Warframe, you don't need any guides or anything like that B) The system is rather straight-forward. I came with my boss-busting weapon builds stoned in the bathtub which is my favorite situation to think about builds in structured systems (worked well for Payday 2 as well).
Youtube has plenty of good videos about Warframe, the Warframe Wiki is also a nice tool to contemplate, but honestly, the best way to learn about the game is to join one of the many clans that are willing to help (new) players.
The Division 1 or 2 can be worth it, but I'd recommend only if it's cheap (it should be at the moment).

Ew! :P
Played Warframe aaaaaaages ago, long before most of the big updates & additions (I think all it had was the Arcwing & pets). Solo only. God it was a boring grind. Tried to come back to see some of those big additions and it was just so confusing with so many different things to do.
for 3, the thing that pissed me off the most and is why i'm dragging my ass on playing it was the writing, enemies being massive sponges doesn't really become much of a problem till you are doing end game content, and by that point im either invested enough to deal with it till board, or I have already quit.
borderlands 1 was pretty good, some enemies were sponkey but it felt pretty ok
borderlands 2 was a hell hole at around level 45 where the game expected you to be playing like a cracked out monkey going from a slag weapon to whatever weapon you wanted to do damage with, constantly bouncing between the two, they put in a shield that was really good for damage and let you side step the design flaw that was the bee shield, but after that got nerfed, my interest in the game died within 2 hours, I came back for the d&d theme, but I was playing on my higher level character so the entire dlc felt like crap to play, I quit, came back with as low a level as that dlc will allow, and it was pretty ok just garbage weapons made even playing it at a lower level ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
borderlands 3, from what I remember has streamers as the bad guys, every good guy being braindead, then killing off a character you like for one you hate.
I mean I can ignore story's in most games when I like the gameplay enough, but borderlands forces you to pay attention to the story at every turn, like if they just shut the ♥♥♥♥ up I would probably have made it to the end... I should see if I can mute dialogue, but then that may hurt quests...
