Steam Year In Review Doesn't Count As Complete Year
Steam Year in Review 2023 counts our progress and everything in steam from 1 January 2023 to 14 December 2023... where are the last 16 Days?

Ok... so it will add in the next year, right? No it will not! I checked Steam Year In Review 2022, which is same from 1 Jan 2022 to 14 Dec 2022.

Last 16 Days aren't counted, why is that... I'm sure I played like 10+ games with 100+ hours in the last 3 weeks... it should show in my year in review, but it doesn't. Steam should fix this and also add the last 16 Days.

No, Steam Year In Review does not include any playtime played in offline mode or when disconnected from internet.

Does Steam Year In Review include all types of apps?

Steam Year In Review excludes time spent running tools and other types of non-game software. It also excludes games that are unreleased, in preload, in prelease, or disabled.

As the information is gathered and compiled for the year end review, and to release it in time for Christmas, they can't include the entire month of December.

Sure, that makes sense for this year... They should add those 16 Days to the next year then... The problem is that a lot of people (including me) buy games on Summer and Winter Sale. Winter Sale is after 20 Dec generally, so Steam should include our playtime and our stats of End of Dec in Steam Year in Review, otherwise it should not be called as YEAR IN REVIEW!

If they cant add it this year, then the next year in review should start from 15 Dec 2023 to Dec 2024. But it seems to start from 1 Jan 2024... :(

But that's not the year 2024 if they include time from 2023.

ALL year in reviews start at Jan 1 and end at some arbitrary point in December. They're all short some amount of time. Come this time next year you're not going to even remember what happened during these last two weeks.
