I never said I have issues with forum moderation even while they ban me and refuse to moderate someone who's writing fake comments under my name (by faking my profile). they have to follow rules and it's on Valve to provide meaningful rules. So far rules are in favor of trolls and abusers and even if you "know how to use forum spaces within the rules" you will never succeed doing so if you'll be mass reported and banned for anything that remotely resembles "post that could spark an argument".
echo chamber is in your head. I'm sure you're the only one here who accepted your ban as an adult and you still proud of that. such an accomplishment.
If you’re being mass-reported for posts which moderators also agree amount to fighting …. possibly there’s some there there.
there are 2 bad actors who report all of my posts so I have better chance to get banned for something than average user. they will go posting insults and then when I reply they report my post as harassment. they even confessed they report my posts and were sad when mods don't take any action. the nerve. now one of them impersonates me on forums.
I am hiding from nosy people who want to trawl through my profile looking for something to use for extortion or some other nefarious reasons.
I do not trust people who do not like hidden profiles, what are they wanting to see and why?
Bullcrap.
I never put myself or anyone else in a position of trust so I have zero issues. Seems you got some learning to do.
thank you!
(One of the most trustworthy dudes in here, 🎅)
The Whisky was good then?
The fact that action hasn't been taken on your posts that you know were reported means that there is no such thing as moderation vendetta. Is moderation wildly inconsistent? Sadly, yes, but that is one of the drawbacks of the type of system that Steam uses.
You should trust NOBODY EVER. What you can do is take on board what they say and assess the evidence they offer. Then you shoudl take that evidence and GOOGLE to check it.
It's really not difficult. Critical thinking and scepticism is easy.
But if you're instead being intellectually dishonest and are REALLY saying "I don't know whether to trust people who tell me things I don't WANT to hear" then that#'s a you problem.
I see that a lot on here.
But if you are being honest then the former is dead easy to do. You should od it in ALL situations in life anyway.
