I can't purchase games if i turn on Family Protection
i mean if i set up the family View , i cant purchase anything , steam page just empty if i press checkout , only disable it steam will let me checkout normally

Im am having this issue also how did you fix it ? disable family share ?

Yes, it is to prevent the account from making unauthorized purchases.

When you set up Family View, there were options you can turn off, to allow more access. One of them allows the user to use the Steam Store on the account.

Uncheck "Steam Store" at the bottom.

Yes you must delete the Family view not just turn on or off, then buy games then active again , really ridiculous

Then something is wrong with your install.

Delete everything in the Steam directory except the Steam.exe and Steamapps. Run the Steam.exe and it will reinstall Steam.

Or, as you own the account, just don't enable Family View. If you have it on for a minor, I suggest making another account with Family View enabled and use Family Share to share the games.

Ah cause you turn the protection on so the children in your family can play & who would want their immature child to purchase games unsupervised? xD
