Something wrong with the Steam store?

Takes an age to load the shop front. Produces an error when trying to complete payment, after filling in the payment details. What gives?

The Store is loading just fine for me in Steam Client Stable version.I'm not going to buy some random thing to test the payment system, sorry.

It would possibly help if you said where you are seeing this issue- Steam Client Stable, Steam Client Beta, The Steam website, the Steam mobile app... and what general world region you are in, as it could be a regional server issue that isn't affecting everyone.

Could be something bugging in the cache...
Maybe try deleting Steam browser data.

In Steam settings > in-game > delete browser data

No just the app. Will try the browser though, thanks(never used the browser method.. looks like I'll have to now.

Browsing the store in both client and a browser work fine for me. I usually exclusively use a browser, mind, the client is only for the actual game part for me. No idea on payments since I haven't made a purchase.
