Also consider Wolcen - game with many problems, but seems pretty much okay now. And does some things better than other games. Keep in mind that community around Wolcen is mostly negative towards the game so it is hard to get some good answers. Anyway, if you buy it on good sale you will be okay.
The previous versions of the game were not really my thing and I looked at it quite a few times over the past several years but I decided to grab it last night and it is literally what I was looking for.
I also got Torchlight 2 and wolcen
It's old but it feels kinda unique.

I played those 2 and they're very good and not too expensive (get them in big sales at the end of the year)

Divine Divinity (old classic)
Balrum (if you liked isometric games like Eschalon)
Some that come to mind are:
Drakensang
Dungeon Hunter series
Torchlight series
Rage of Mages (vintage)
the Divine Divinity series of games (Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity, Divinity II, etc.)
hell, if you want, try Assassin's Creed series of games; there is added story/depth but the gameplay of combat - running around and hitting things in thirdperson (although not so high in the air camera) - is ssoooooorttta the same heh
if all you've ever played is Action Role Playing Games, it might open up a whole new genre for you to try
have fun with it mate
