Why No Steam Wallet Gift Cards Available In The UK Right Now?
Shame there is seemingly nowhere with Steam Wallets Card, so many games I've given up on buying because I can't get the Cards to pay for them. And before anyone suggests pay for it online by other means, nah, stuff that, the Cards were my preffered option, no Cards no profit from me Steam, bravo.

Have you tried asking the retailer? I've read of people having to ask as they now print out Steam wallet codes on the receipts.

The retailer is also responsible for ordering Steam Wallet Cards, if they wish to carry them. If there are none in the store, then the store may have decided not to carry them.

Steam Wallet cards are still everwhere here in Germany.
What happened is that many have switched to digital only.
The physical cards with the field to scratch off are basically gone from nearly all stores here.
But everyone carries the digital ones where you just say you want one at checkout and they print you the code.
Pretty much every supermarket chain here (ALDI, LIDL,NORMA,NETTO and so on) offers them, also pretty much every gas station and lottery ticket store.

Maybe ask around who offers the printout version in your vicinity?

I havn't been able to find any either in Sheffield where I live. They say it's because of fraudsters or whatever. Which is annoying because the cards are currently the only way I can buy stuff/top up my steam balance 'cus it's an absolute faff to set up online banking. If anyone knows any stores where I can buy the code on a receipt like Totoro says, please let me know!

Yeah, that's the exact same BS excuses I've been getting fed by stores (Argos, Currys, Game, even Amazon UK, etc) here in Scotland along with the 'we're having difficulty getting them' Fraud? HA! Who's trying to defraud anyone? We're trying to buy Steam Store credit, not steal anything. Funnily enough, you can buy cards for anything else apart from steam too. Sounds like Steam don't want to make money any more or we're being fed excrement to lead us to the minefield of online banking and all the risks that ensue ah well, looks like I won't be buying games on Steam any more then...

Have you tried reading my post?

If not, I suggest you do. It matched the criteria you stated and has even been backed by other users. Not much difference between asking at the register for a Steam Wallet Code vs bringing up a physical card.

Though you do you. Feel free to ignore it, but keep in mind that people can read and see for themselves, as well as your response to it.

Have fun!

In my country there is no more physical wallet codes, you need to go to the register in convenience stores and buy it there, you get a code printed for use (so don't loose that damn paper for the love of god... or just redeem it with your cellphone as soon you get it)

??

What's the advantage of using cards?

When I lived there years ago (before Brexit) you could go to shops with a PayPoint sign outside to get Steam codes. Shop like "Spar"... is Spar still a thing? No idea. Anyway, you give them your money and their PayPoint machine prints the Steam credit redemption code on a paper receipt. Kinda insecure but people did that. No idea if it's still possible.

Aye, whatever know all font of all knowledge, my guess is you don't even live in the UK or have a clue what and how the stores operate. We don't have any of that here, it's steam cards or online banking (which is untrustworthy and insecure in my opinion) Now go ride a Bike, play Tennis or Swim, instead of coming in here with your lack of knowledge and bad attitude, be off.

That's simply wonderful for you then pal, bully for you, but we don't have that option from the stores in the UK, is it starting to sink in yet?

Ahem, are you in the UK? Nope, didn't think so. So, that's a waste of time and effort.
