Valued opinion, trusted source, I'm sure.
Though personally, I kinda feel like i could've worded that better, cuz I meant that there are games that will never be on PC, and Epic Games' money can change that. The Kingdom Hearts trilogy was among such games, and guess what? Epic threw money at it. And now PC ports of those games exist.
You mean setting up sails to acquire them.
That's a nice theory. But if that were true, surely they would promote Kingdom Hearts on Epic Games more than they have, and especially mention the permanent exclusive contract, in order to dry out the potential of the sales? It wouldn't help either Disney, Square, or Epic to create a contract where they aren't allowed to advertise it's permanent exclusivity.
Epic gave them great support with Unreal Engine ? What does that mean ? I expect a company like SE doesn’t need any help from Epic for developing games. In the announcement for the PC version of KH it sounds like whenever we needed help Epic was there to help us. Maybe SE got a nice deal for licensing the UE they get it cheap and as a good will KH is Epic exclusive for a long time.
We can all hope. The way square enix has been doing some games are shadow drops. Just look how they did dragon quest builders 1.
They did that with NEO:TWEWY as well. But the strange thing is, Tchia was also an Epic exclusive, but totally advertised their Steam drop months in advance.
