Valve Mods Protect Hate Speech In SF6 Forums

Go onto the Street Fighter 6 forums; every 'Reee! Woke is BAD!' threat is allowed to sit up for days, if not longer, regardless of reports.
They only get closed for 'arguing' days later, and the OPs are NEVER banned.

But within 30 minutes of someone firing back at the bigoted troglodytes screeching about how they hate 'wokeness'; that person is banned for weeks or more.
Because apparently 'This post contains content used to insult, harass, or abuse other Steam users. This type of content is not allowed on the Steam Community.' only applies to people trying to stop hate.
Those vomiting hate speech are apparently not breaking any rules, according to Valve mod's actions. Because they are never banned, nor are their threads deleted.

It's clear the Valve mods are going out of their way to protect the bigots and allow them to repost their hate speech repeatedly while shutting down anyone who calls out the hate speech for what it is; vile hate vomited by people with 1 brain cell.

It's bigot mods protecting their bigot buddies and abusing their mod powers to silence anyone who fights back.
Not one person who has vomited verbal diarrhea about how much they hate 'woke' has been banned for it since the SF6 demo hit steam. But anyone who call them out on their idiot-ramblings has been banned, sometimes repeatedly.

And remember: They call it 'wokeness' because calling it 'basic empathy' reveals that they're the ones in the wrong.

If that were true, then the mods would ban the people posting hate against a group of people (The trans community, the gay community, LGBTQ+ as a whole) that goes on on the SF6 forums.

The posts you commented on in that forum did not post hate against those people. Someone saying 'I hate woke' isn't the same as targeting specific groups of people.

I only ever heard it used as a synonym (or onomatopoeia?) for screaming loudly/screeching.

Speaking as someone on the Autism spectrum; I've never heard 'reeing' be applied as a derogatory term for those of us on the spectrum.

Threads like these aren't that useful. It's never the whole story, so it's rather difficult to "judge". Was it actually a Steam mod or a game hub mod? Cause it sounds much more like the latter.

They aren't abusing their position. They act upon reports. Engaging in rule breaking behavior as a response to what you consider rule breaking behavior doesn't make you immune to moderation.

Personally, I kinda understand the cringe about the announcer. I just saw them once, turned away and left. It's just not my kind of thing. Still, insulting people will only get YOU in trouble. Not everyone has to like characters that you're fine with. Vote with your money.

People will always complain about things. Sometimes, such things make sense, sometimes not, and it isn't worth risking your account over these battles. Feel free to discuss them but the moment one resorts to insults to make a point, they already lost. Just saying.
