EA Desktop App Achievements.

Hello.

I typically don't play EA games on PC because I hated Origin and their ports are almost always ♥♥♥♥♥. However, I'm considering purchasing more EA games on PC as Origin is no longer a thing, but I'm curious - does the EA App have achievements and are they dated?

Yes they have achievements on games these days as far as I'm aware. I can't remember if they're date stamped.

But I'm not sure of your logic. Origin is no more you say? Just because they've changed the name, it's STILL the same thing you know.

ORIGIN and the EA APP are the same. They just changed the name and look.
Games have still the same achievements they had when the service was called ORIGIN and your unlocked achievements from before are still there.
Just like Steam those things are locked to your account, not the client.

Didn't the EA app replace Origin? I know it's technically the same thing but to my understanding the new EA app works better. Origin never worked for me. It would always crash or just never open when I launched a game via Steam thus leaving me unable to play.

Its a new client but uses the same ORIGIN accounts and infos, so its a new framework but basically still ORIGIN. Just in a new shiny coat.
Also the EA APP is WAY worse then ORIGIN ever was for me.

Buggy piece of garbage. One of the main reasons i barely use my EA account and games anymore.
