Backdoor.balabindi issue

Everytime I install steam and run the application my antivirus detects backdoor.badabindi malware. Can anyone help me to resolve this issue?

You can try to report to the antivirus company that it may be a false positive

I am using quickheal antivirus. I know this is a hacker malware but my antivirus is removing steam because of this malware. What should I do install steam again I have scanned full PC several times with antivirus and windows defender but they are not detecting any malware after removing steam

You likely already hae malware on your system that its attempting to hijakc the steam installer

Report to the company of quickheal that they got a false positive with Steam

I just installed steam from an old setup which was saved in my external hard drive and now steam installed fine and my antivirus did not detect any malware from the old setup

Where did you get the newer installer from?

Upload that installer to virustotal, and let it get checked.

Try to whitelist the Steam install exe on your Anti-virus.
