Is my friend too old for Legos?
My friend is nearly 30 years old and recently he has been obsessed with legos. I am concerned because I feel like legos are for children primarily. He is aalso enjoying bionicle and other childish hobbies unlike me who plays adult games on steam primarily involving futa if you were curious. I wonder if u guys think I should perhaps help him grow up or is it harmless to play legos as a grown adult. thak you

You're asking this on a site that caters to people who play video games. If you're never to old to play a video game, you're never too old to play with legos. Leave your "friend" alone. You have no right to dictate how they enjoy their time.

If anything, your "friend" needs to replace you with someone who's willing to accept him for being him.

There are tons of LEGO sets für adults, cool setpieces and technic sets.
I turn 45 in a month and i have a bunch of LEGO sets and from other producers, mostly ships and some video game related stuff like the Tallneck from Horizon Zero Dawn.

Its fun to build something like this and it looks very nice as a desktop decoration.

I dont "play" with them , but its about the same as any model building hobby to me, just more relaxed.

the Lego i had as a kid, just sits in a box these days....
I've still got the 18 wheeler recovery truck in "as built" condition (IE, missing a few bits LOL) but the other sets are all just piled in a big box together. It would take ages to sort them through, and if even 1 set is complete i'd be surprised.

Lego can be used for all kinds of things though. Did you see they've even started using Lego to build 3D printers? Yup, someone made a working 3D printer out of Lego...

I'm also thinking about getting a "display" Lego set or two.

Btw, other manufacturers do impressive things. There's a castle made from Lego pieces that comes in various sets (yes, they have DLCs... eh, extensions), and sums up to about 22000 pieces. Not sure whether that still qualifies as "suitable for kids"...

Also, the only two games I've played this year with a thumb-up were rated PEGI-12 and E-10+.

So what? Age rating are recommended MINIMUM ages, not max...

Hats off for people who resisted the adults have to match xy scheme manipulation ^^

The purpose of life is fun, rather than fitting an image deemed normal. But also to realize that it's also beneficial to increase the amount of people and things to include as target to gain fun for together and to enlargen the view of how everything affects everything.

While on first sight, going with the flow seems beneficial, standing up instead of strengthening it is heroic.
A disadvantage of Lego? Focus too much and the easiest requirements to be allowed to use them strengthen the hamster wheel, as you follow the flow again.

Of course you are never too old for stuff you like......and if you see the price on some sets.....those can either way only buy a person who has a job.....and enough spare money for that hobby.

Is your friend deceased? If not, then no. If he is, then call an exorcist or the Ghostbusters or something.

a lots of people see animations movies as movies for childreen only.. and for those people, listening an animation movie will make them cringy because in the head it's for Children and he's an adult..

This is a huge problem.. those people will never be really happy. Happy of what? buying a new car? come on.. happyness doesnt come from material.. if it was, every Rich MOFA in this world would be extremly happy. Ask BillGate if he's happy lol

That sentence made my day :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

To answer your question, he is fine, as long as he doesn't put himself in debt due to the hobby. Some of the new LEGO sets are ridiculously expensive...

See the problem there is that you think how you feel actually matters.

Oh, I get it. This is an attempt at humor. Carry on.
