Also, Max Payne is not for sale anymore for most countries, you can check the store here:

Well I hope my Pools of Radiance can be handled by Windows 10. I don't know if it can handle the strain.

Some games run better or have less problems. I have run into a few older games like Yakuza 0, Grand Theft San Andreas, Kane and Lynch Dead Men...not the best coded games but they don't run as good because they were designed with primitive tech. I have 0 problems on 7 with them, but will be forced to pirate or buy from another platform or physical disc. I am sure people can name others, but we don't need to defend Valve's decision to not allow basic access.
Max Payne runs 'out of the box' with only some audio problems (A bug that existed since Windows Vista due to changes in DirectSound).
But there are plenty of options to fix it (unofficial patch or two type of wrappers)

No clue if this means that older steam version won't be able to connect to the store.I think gog launcher has allready been updated to remove win7 compatibility during an update but as soon as you tryed to update it , it revert back and you still can use it.
Problem with Steam is that you need to verify if you OWN the game.
If Steam cannot run then your Steam game will not work.
You will have bricked games.
But, by the end of there year that may no longer be possible anymore because, just like the Steam client, it uses CEF.
GOG though allows downloads without their client.
And ? It's allready the case atm and i do not see why it can't change after the end of w7 support unless the api will change drasticly
Yeah I tried a lot of those "fixes" to get it working in win7, best I got was it ran but no audio like you said.
I'll try it again tonight, maybe it'll actually work in win10.
Cool if it works, I'd pretty much written it off as the price of moving forward, same as a few other games I have that don't handle win7/10.
