It's not going to happen. And you don't want to follow any of those "Guides" online on how to "Revert to the old version of steam" either: Using the old version of steam is dangerous and unsafe due to how insecure it is today compared to the current version of the steam client.

If you want to remain safe online you should use the current version only.
