How long do Steam refunds usually take?

Just refunded a game to my Steam wallet, the refund was approved (so to speak) and i’m now waiting for the money to arrive in my wallet. You would think that it would be instant if refunding to the Steam wallet but no.

So I was wondering if anyone know how long it typically takes nowadays for the funds to become available.

Usually 24 hours but it can take longer.

It usually takes around day or less, depending on wheter you refunding on card or in steam vallet.
If you bought game with cash from steam vallet it only goes back there.
Also it takes longer if you ask to return it to your card...

Yeah as I said I chose to refund to my Steam wallet.

Usually it will take day, depends also where you are because of time difference.... I am in East / Central Europe it usually I have to wait whole day if not more....

Refunding to your wallet is always no less than 24 hours.

If you click on the pending amount, it should give you a window of when the funds will likely return.

It took me almost 2 days to get my refund credited back to my steam wallet this week. I asked for a refund Monday night around 11pm. It wasn't fully available until Wednesday 2pm.

The email also states it can be up to 7 days.

When was the request and when was the approval? The 24 hours is from when it was approved (second e-mail) not from when it was requested.

24 hours is 24 hours, regardless of timezone. One time zone won't wait longer then another.

4 days at the most in my experience. I just refunded a game so I'll so I'll respond again when I see the balance. Mar 16, 2023, 4:42 AM is when it was accepted.

24-48 hours depending if it a normal work day sometimes doing on weekends i find could take a little longer but long as it pending its coming

If it is approved, then there should be a pending credit in the upper right corner of the client. It can can take a few hours to several days for approval.
