No, and if something this minor was forced consistently bans would increase dramatically. I guarantee you if you pour through the post history of users in this thread alone you'd find use of words that would be of a similar vein on almost all of them, myself included.

Game hubs are game hubs though and moderators and/or developers play by their own rules in those area's.

yep sad but true, you would think steam would least add some form of checking or max penalty.

But suppose it because they want too keep their hands off it and also give a nice bonus too the sad developers and their mod team.

Though a lot of this is just the insane left and modern day snow filled people at best.
Used forums for ages no issue, and now ya not so much.

Once I had quoted a Rick & Morty reference and got "community banned" for 2 weeks...This quote didnt even had any bad words in it. Just like your case..

Steam sux, .. and what it has become over these years!! Especially done by all these toxic users which mostly come from CSGO and TF2 crap. Such guys who suffer inferiority complex and/or need any sort of attention.. "wannabes" who arent successful in real life but know how to abuse and exploit Steam..and to spread non-sense hate and anger!!

We "innocent" victims of coordinated trolling reporting strikes. These guys should be permanently banned instead, for ever! As THESE break the Steam TOS by using "spoofed hardwareIDs" and VPNs with multiple Steam Accounts etc, to mass report you..

Funny how the vast majority of Steam users have been able to use the forums for years, and continue to do so without ever breaking the rules and without ever being moderated. Perhaps, a long hard look in the mirror is necessary for those who have been unable to do that.
