You can actually.
If you're using Win 10 or 11 go to Windows settings and set your native desktop resolution lower and have steam set to go with the desktop resolution.
I have my laptop hooked up by my bed with my TV and if I set it to 1080p, then the text is too small to read, so I drop Windows to 720p and it's fine then.
You are not able to understand what I have said right? I said something really easy to understand. Is it really that hard for you? What does your cheap tutorial to use Wikipedia have to do with what I said? lol man
It shows that you are alaso wrong as it shows links to reputable sources, that you claimed weren';t there. Also demonstrating you to be wrong.
And again, your "nope" defence is also wrong because again you cannot escape burden of proof.
See, you should have learned by now you can't wriggle out of your claim. YOU made assertions and all you've done when offerde evidence of how burden of proof works and why your claim must be dismissed as nonsense is try to dodge and move the goalposts.
Ergo, you keep on being wrong more and more and your claims still remain rubbish.
It's entirely germane to the problem of fixing Steam's font size.
Scaling doesn't necessarily work as it can wreck the mouse pointer in games sometimes.
It was maybe, 5, 10 years back, in the days of TVOut ports -- but not now. :)
Not everyone loves to use wide screen monters or perhaps they just want steam open on a second montier also laptops nowdays are notorious for haveing low res screens.
Also Just noticed they removed the handy "Restart Steam" from the menu too.
Exactly this.
I could do that with just about any operating system but I prefer to keep my desktop resolution as it is. I've not seen any other program or App that would force a user to change their desktop in order for it to be legible... Strange.
Do they prefer we use a browser?
My browser isn't using any magnification.
When I right click, the text in the radial box, Back, Reload, Copy URL is just about what I'm used to all around with Steam (well, almost).,but readable. But forums, store page and any other text is just too small with no way around it.
Notifications text box is unbelievably too small and there is so much room to be used in this UI. Doesn't make sense to squash everything like this. I can imagine the pain a 4k Steam customer is enduring. You would need a microscope to see this text in 4k.
Are skins a no go now? I believe it could be fixed if a skin could be edited.
Have you changed the scaling settings in the client?
