OS Updates can fix things, improve things, break things, or impact things.

Not doing OS updates can include not getting things fixed, not improve things, avoiding breakage, or impact, but flaws keeps stacking aka security holes.

You're likely the average person in this scenario, as I pointed out. Someone who doesn't really delve into the OS much, probably uses the PC in majority for leisure and doesn't want the hassle of buggering around with stuff.

And in that regard merely jumping to the latest Windows is by far the best bet. It isn't bad at all. And as I pointed out also, it has better compatibility for games too.

My bing ai vanished for me idk why it did just one day it wasnt installed anymore i wanna go back windows 95 wich had no risk of telemery no updates and is way more secure than newer os

'95 was too crashy. BSOD OS. No USB support realistically. Now '98 Second Edition with Microsoft Arcade, Microsoft Plus!, Microsoft BOB, After Dark, and Wired For Sound Pro installed, THAT'S HOW YOU WANT TO RUN A WINDOWS OS!!

Funny enough as predicted Windows 7&8 support will be dropped on EPIC as well very soon, they are even going a step farther and dropping support for 32 bit versions of Windows 10....

Lets see if anyone threatens to sue EPIC....
