The option is still there and I haven't got popups even after the new update.
So the option to turn off the popups is not working.
And there is no point in posting a picture of the pop up as everyone one on the planet knows what a pop up looks like.
But it's unclear what it is exactly that pops up, unless you describe what it is that pops up.
An image of it would be good, because pop-ups is a very general term. People have complained about pop-up before and it turned out their Steam client browser was infected.
blunus game the correct instructions on where to find it. Is the switch next to "Notify me about..." grey or blue (circle to the left or right)? If blue (to the right) then you have it turned on to give said notifications.
If it is off and really is the standard Steam pop-up and you are still getting them, then it may be due to a bug that some have been experiencing where the settings are not being saved or are being ignored. Best bet there would be to find a similar thread in the Steam Beta forum and wait for Valve to fix the issue.
I accidently started a couple of posts on this as I though the first one went AWOL.
And this life saver solved my problem. Still shouldn't require arguments to work.
It seems to be a bug with the new interface... Which seems to be buggy as F, at the moment.
