Is there a way to turn of GIF's on store pages?
They have the option to not autoplay videos but SO MANY store pages open and try to load 50+ gif's and my internet can't handle it. I want to disable them. Is there a Steam option for it?

Doubt it. To be honest I never came across something like that before (for whatever that's worth!), was it in the actual top section or the bottom added comments?

Can you share an example?

It's any game that uses GIF's in the "About this game section". Some Game's store pages have 10+ large GIF's and the store page tries to load all of them at the same time before anything else. This is exceedingly annoying if you have poor internet.

We are talking about the GIF's in the about section. I want the ability to not auto load them.

You can't do that on Steam client. On regular web browser it is possible.

You can install SteamDB extension on your browser to hide those on store pages. Option is disabled by default. It's last option on that extension as seen on this screenshot https://i.imgur.com/53GjumJ.png

Get extension here. https://steamdb.info/extension/

I wish they would think carefully about this, because sometimes when I try to watch a trailer for a game I'm interested in, the gif loading sometimes makes it difficult for the trailer to play.
