That game you posted lastly kinda makes me think that there should be one.. xd
Wow, that's a strangely specific question for a fictional setting 😅
I'd say ... I don't know ... and yes, there should be one ... I think. 😆
That's a point.
Just checked The Wagadu Chronicles and it really matches this definition :)
The game is coming & there already is a demo. :)

People with a different skin or skintone, but still just people.
In the US they like classifying people based on their skintone for whatever reason. They do this so much that civillians could believe that they're of a different culture even if they're next door neighbors for years.I think this is sad really, because in essence people stop seeing eachother as part of the same family or friends.
I'm interested in games featuring darker skintoned protagonists as well, just like any other game. I find it cool that they focus on something different from the overused main character stereotype appearance. Of course, I am mostly interested in the game's content, rather than the protagonist (lore, story, type of game, etc.). I'm trying to say with this that to me, its about the game.
But there is a second reason that I look at these. It is because I can imagine people who have a similar skintone to that of the protagonist of a game are more easily able to connect with such character (especially children); and so the game is to them a lot more immersive from the get go. I think immersion is important to make the game more appealing and fun for people.
I'm hoping I could find a good game for people who haven't been able to immerse into the game properly due to something like this that I think they could enjoy properly, without the need of looking at the protagonist as a separate person who they make fun off instead.
And for myself obviously. I like metroidvanias for example. Someone is making a list of games, I check out the games that I wouldn't otherwise see advertised on the Store mainpage. I learn of games that way.
So its not really about the development team or who created it to me. I get the movement is for the developers, but basically, I think if they create good games people will automatically praise and support them, so-- just be normal I guess?

Just several decades ago 95% would've been White, no diversity.
Because they are. You don't just dump in over 100,000,000 new people and expect them to instantly drop their culture from their home country and act like what used to be the 95% White population.
Culture is also extremely local. Each family has a unique culture inside their home.
but there is a shared culture in each neighborhood.
What I mean is that these people do not seek eachother out and pretend they're different species basically / untrustworthy.
Also I recommend not labeling people into separate groups.
If you look at history, people were labeled based on religion and then racism happened (basically), witch hunts, etc.
It just happens, because one group has to be... somehow... better than the other, because within each group there is at least one person with Self Worth issues that starts behaving narcissistic. (no offense intended, but to get security, they need to be / feel better)
They start stirring the group claiming they have 'better parties', 'better gardens', etc.
And that is when you create belittling behavior and eventually hatred.
Simply grouping people does that.
You address people by their skintone, you're going to get belittling behavior if not hatred based on skintone
Ignore this troll. They are obsessed with posting about race.
