Does Steam actually review the games released on it's platform? I did a review on a game called Terfenstein 3D the other day and honestly had a 2015 flashback of another game on the platform I reference in the video. So it actually got me wondering. Is there an actual vetting process or can anyone pretty much upload anything at this point? lol Anyway thanks in advance mates.:steamhappy:

No, they don't. Money on Gaben's pocket, your game is on store. Easy.
Yes.
but no one knows exactly how the reviewing is done. We only know that either a single person or a very small team gets assigned to each game and a review is only done once.

This means that individual judgements are also a thing.

A number of visual novels without got banned (refused from participating on the platform) even after the rules were relaxed for reasons no one understands. And re-evaluating these judgements doesn't usually happen apparently.
(There are exceptions, for example when a huge fanbase starts asking about it)

It is because of this Chaos Head Noah for example took a very long time before it appeared on the platform. It was originally banned.

Steam is only available on PC.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2192840/Terfenstein_3D/

The game offers LGBTQAI+, transgender, and feminist themes of gender-critical people and what a post-war apocalyptic world would look like if gender fascists won. In this dystopian world, fascists have killed and imprisoned all transgender and queer people, subjecting them to harsh conversion therapy, imprisonment, and death. You play as an escapee fleeing their detention center, while you exact your revenge.
This game brings to light the very real transphobic violence many transgender people face for just existing. And draw a comparison between gender critics and nazi Germany.

Hmmmmmmmmm.

Steam Deck is a PC in a handheld form factor. The android app is only the store and community features. You are unable to play any games.

It sounds like what you did was use Steam Link to stream the game. It wasn't playing natively on the device.
