Actual good role-play games (multiplayer)?

I was wondering if there was any rpgs with the rp in it. Not an MMO where you just run around killing things.

So cut it short I mean games like this:
CDDA If it had multiplayer,
Space Station 13,
Barotrauma,
Hidden Deep if it had multiplayer,
Fallout (1-2 , excluding FOnline),
so on.

Actual role-play games that are multiplayer.

While I do agree that is great multi, you gotta have friends to play with that are ready to dedicate time to it. Because Divinity Original Sin 2 is loooooooong game, especially if you want to do side qiests, and not doing side quests is crime because you have soooo great and funny sidequests in it.

I already looked at Divinity and it is just not my type.
I said some games as an example, which those are perfect rp games. It is difficult to find an RPG when nearly everyone is missing the RP part.

Edit: Project Zomboid and Barotrauma are 2 great examples.

Dunno would Raft or Terraria could classify as RPG since they have elements of it but would see them more as pure survival ones......

No. They're more of a survival game rather than a rp game.

I've been wondering if I should get this or not. But Wasteland 3 is not related to what I'm looking for, looks good though.

Have you tried the Fallout New Vegas Multiplayer mod? How about the Skyrim Together Reborn mod? I know the games you've listed are more 2d so how about Project zomboid which is literally inspired by CDDA or maybe you're looking for survivalish but not strictly survivle coop games like Voidtrain, Voidcrew or Valheim

Yes hello, I have not tried the FN mod or Skyrim, I'll def give the FN mod a try but I failed setting up so maybe another day. I'm trying to get into PZ so yes we'll see that. Thank you! Valheim though isnt my go and the other two are not really my thing.

Also you do not mention if you want online multiplayer or couch co-op multiplayer. There is a difference between these two types.

Still pretty modern day game. Was only made a couple years ago. The asthetics were made like that on purpose to emulate older games.
