Valve has requested that we stop retrieving and redistributing content. We are not interested in the consequences of non-compliance. This site was maintained by hobbyists and dealing with legal is not part of the hobby.
However, since the events of last week, we realized that all this time, we did not properly factor in the legal implications. We reached out on Steam support and they told us to stop distributing content. At this point the site is no longer a creative outlet but a legal liability.
Steam game mods are a privilege of buying it on steam
Many are reliable.
Note that some are legit, posted by the mod authors, and others are just re-uploaded without permission, for profit - advertising. Such commercial websites that pirate mods can or cannot be safe, so use them at your discretion.
At the end of the day, if you know the game is moddable via Steam Workshop, and you intend to use it, is better just to buy it in Steam rather than try to save a few bucks elsewhere, and then get burned trying to find these mods, and installing them.

They have a fair amount of the same mods on this site too. A bit more complex to install, but they work. They may even have more mods as they have fewer restrictions on them then the Steam Workshop does.
