No connection, but I have internet

For couple days I have problem with connecting to Steam servers to download stuff. I can login, but after that Steam refuses to connect and it's saying "No Connection" and because of that i can't download games or updates.

My internet is okay. I tried using other launchers or browsing the internet and everything was fine. Couple minutes ago I even downloaded update for Ubisoft Connect.
I don't know what I can do about it and I need help.

Hey! I have the same problem. I have tried reinstalling windows, and all of the fixes on the internet, nothing works. I'm not sure what could be the issue, but hoping it will be fixed soon.

Me too, this is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying. Right now Im sitting in front of my PC for about an hour because I can';t download anything. Other launchers are working but Steam? Nah.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\logs
contains a couple of text files that can help figure out why.

OK, I look into that, and I'll paste it here.

What do you guys need? There are a lot of txt files.

EDIT - I found one phrase that is being repeated: "HTTP Fetch failed"

EDIT 2 - Steam stopped having stroke and finally connected to servers, but if you guys know why it took it so long then please tell me.

just google the error message and add wildcards or exact match for 'steam' or 'connection'

that's mainly what tech support does when you call them or ticket them, btw.

I tried doing that, but Google gave me some random sites and info. Nothing helped.

EDIT - So I did some testing and I decided to open Steam a little bit earlier than usually and I've been using it for 2h and my connection is okay.

ive had it for the past few weeks happening on and off too, just going have to wait for valve to fix it, thankfully it goes away for a while

recommend you uninstall the last steam game you installed see if that clears it up

nothing to do with that cause it worked 20 mins after i posted this, its on steams end something is happening with there servers since the new update that changed steam..never had this problem ever before
