steam account hijacked, waiting for steam support to help

Some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hacked my account. I got a link from a friend who i actually know and know played games with so i trusted and clicked on the link, but it seems that his account is already hacked and so as mine.

My e-mail address, password, mobile number all got changed instantly.Before, you say something that website had image of Humble bundle as sponsorship and also i logged into steam website window which comes up when login via steam on any other legit sites like cs money

Yes, i've raised a ticket, but it's been more than 10 hours and no one has replied on it and not even seen it. I've already tweeted to steam support about it.

I've sent all the email proof purchases that I have when i bought games on steam.

What more can I do.

That hacker is currently in my account playing pubg. I also told him to give me back my account he tried to speak to me over voice chat , but when i said hello, he disconnected the call.

i have 122 games on it, will the games still present on the same account after i revoke my access?

And why the hell steam support is not answering my ticket. I'm from India and i don't have much exposure, please help

How can i reach steam support and inform them to look into my ticket..

Fortunately i dont have any costly inventory in it and even if the guy steals my items which are only cs go related i can get it back...

I just want my account back.... plzz some one help any steam modeartor anything that can be done in resolving this situation will be helpful..

Steam support is not answering my ticket, i've created two tickets with two different e-mail address so that they could at least answer on one....

do not make multiple tickets. you are not the only one waiting in line for steam to get to your ticket. you are not special, you have to wait. by making multiple tickets, you only clog up the line more, and slow down the entire process.

it can take a few hours to a couple days depending on the number of people that need help.

im not saying that im the only one... i didn't even made multiple just 2. It has already past "few hours" so how long this couple of days can go a week, a month?????

I'm from India, i'm not from US or any western countries where this can be resolved quickly. But that desn't mean steam can put me in line for ever. Do they have any steam moderators on steam who can notify this to steam support. I'm not talking about resolving the issue, at least they should give a acknowledge statement on my ticket saying that it's been looked into.

It seems like the attitude is ohh you've got your account hijacked , so STFU and wait till we do something when we can. That's not good. I'm a steam customer and I trusted this gaming platform over others.

As I said this mistake is not mine, I got the link from a friend whose account is also hacked and that fkin scam website has sponsored by humble bundle logo.....

But it's ok i'll wait... because that's what i can do. I hope at least some steam moderators over here have at least some connections or in a way at least provide some help in taking this issue to steam support authorities.

I edited my post to include the steam ticket stats. you are in line, they take the first person in line, then the next. so when your turn comes up, you will be assisted. doesnt matter what country you are from.

and steam moderators are not steam support. moderators handle the forums, support handles account and billing issues. it wouldnt matter if a moderator knew someone in Steam Support, they cannot bypass the ticket que.

It's well over 11 hours but i'd wait let see how long this is going to take. I hope it can be resolved in a week at least.

I know steam moderators dont handle support work. I know that. I'm saying steam moderators should have at least some mode of communication with steam support team, so that they can inform so and so person has got fkd and looking for help.

Any corporate business has this type of communication between departments, i'll be very disappointed if that doesn't exist in world's number 1 gaming platform.

However, i'll wait. Please some one from steam support please see my ticket.

That was main account where i didn't do any mischief like cheating or smurfing... Everything on that is legit as fk. Please help me.

That means you will get a game ban soon.
(It's also not the hacker but someone who already purchased access to your account from them.)

In future:
Only log into the Steam directly from the steam site. Use a store direct connection and don't follow any links to it. If you are logged in this way, you won't be asked again by legitimate sites.
Don't ever believe someone who tells you, you won something or get free stuff out of nowhere. There is no such thing. Ever.
Don't trust images on the internet. Pictures can easily be manipulated and scammers are obviously not beyond lying about certifications or trust badges.

The most frustating thing is not about the hijack. But the hijacker is playing pubg and cs go on my account and i can chat with him.

I tried to reason with him that he wont getting from account bcoz i dont have any costly inventory and the inventory that i already have will be very low in his currency because i'm from third world country.

but the fact that I'm just left behind by steam with no moral support as customer is astonishing.

I know there's a system and i know i'm like every one , but do every one gets left behind like by steam. I've learnt a very valuable lesson on steam today.

But i'll try to wait further and lets see how it goes.

I hope that steam support can atleast get my account back no matter if it takes days or weeks. No matter if i lost my cheap inventory. Can i atleast get my account with my games in it that i effin purchased. Please steam...........

did you try to lock the account?

if they are in game, expect to see game bans applied to the account. and if any games use VAC, you will most likely see VAC bans showing up. the game bans you might be able to appeal, but any VAC's will be permanent.

and stop it with the "I am being left behind" mentality. Steam didnt leave you behind, steam didnt abandon you, etc.

How can some one get game ban or vac ban with out cheating ?

Or you say that the who is playing games will cheat on my account that's why i'll get ban???

Or regardless of matter whether he cheats or not, ill get a game ban or vac ban???

it says in item restoration policy : Steam Support will no longer restore lost items. Which i know already hence i never purchased costly skins on steam and never i'll ever. I can get those cheap skins back again i dont care even if lose it.

But the thing is i got this fkin scam link from a account of my friend who i played with. I never open these sort of links if i get it from random people

Some of my other friends says they got the same msg from him, . I donno whether his account got banned or not.

My account as soon as it was hacked went into private. Now it's locked down

Btw i have secured my account with steam guard mobile authenticator and e-mail ID. Hence, i've done my part as per the steam restoration policy. I never traded anything to any one on steam.

When my account got hacked, not only my mobile number was changed, but my e-mail and password

hence, i cannot login back to my account. because the hijacker in some way deauthorized all my mobile devices and i didn't even got a text to my number saying it was being done.
