Windows XP give me more fps then windows 7 at my norebook, win7~40-60 winXP~70-110
And you will care about trim, when that SSD gets full of garbage and runs slower than your previous HDD.
I dont use antivirus and my xp on previous hdd live like 6 years without viruses or attacks)
Why are you still using XP anyway ? And if you are running a dual OS as in XP and 7 on the same machine, I will bet drivers are still an issue, as you boot to a different OS each time, but the hardware in the computer is still the same.
why? i typed it before.
I have ahci driver its enough i think for ssd, all works fine (without trim and steam only)
Post the exact model and model number of this computer. If it is custom built, post the exact motherboard.
Intel 82801IM ICH9m
Chipset: Intel GL40
CPU: Pentium Dual Core T4500
GPU: Ati Mobility Radeon HD 545v (get boosted)
I would suggest you search through all of these, if I have the correct computer from what you have posted that is, and you install all relevant Windows 7 drivers on that boot partition, then all relavant XP drivers on that boot partition.

EDIT..Click the tab "Downloads & Manuals" that you see there and expand the lists, as you will see "more" to the right of the driver downloads.
However, trim will still not be available under XP, as you seem to understand. Hope that helps.
Drivers its not a problem I am sure, because I make copy my hdd to ssd and play csgo and steam work fine.
Still not sure why you like XP so much, as you have Windows 7 also. Windows 7 is a HUGELY better operating system than XP, and is currently supported by Microsoft updates also. But to each his own. Good luck to you in any case.
Thats why.
Somebody have ssd windwos xp and steam at same time?
