Now if it was certain badges, it's safe for me to assume that they're temporary.
Though the Steam DB should have said when the items should have been removed. Instead of saying that these items ate still there in the SP shop. That old thread talking about Doctor Who and Joyce items "getting deleted" is similar.
You asked about it twice in the Fire Alpaca SE forum back in June and July.

Unfortunately no one provided you with a reply and both times it's you that refers to the missing items as a "glitch".
Sometimes items are removed. Why? That's up to the developers, publishers, and Valve to decide. But them simply not being available through the Points Shop does not equate it to being a "glitch".
If there is any bug to mention it's the fact that a site like SteamDB can still direct link to the item's unavailable listing. If it were a link to delisted game, the Store would simply redirect you to the front page of the Store. What Valve should really do is provide a similar redirect for the Points Shop when an item is no longer available.

At least try to name a semi-valuable reason behind this, without resorting to "ReeEEe, IT's NoT a BUg!!11" again.
If it was a glitch, the items would still be listed on the SteamDB site and have an active link to the item acquisition page (as was in the thread you linked earlier). But your last example has none of that. It very much indicates that the game developer/publisher only wants to offer the items currently there.
That said, the items that are missing from the events in the OP also don't have active acquisition pages when I use the links from the SteamDB website. That would indicate the items have been disabled, though it also could mean server issues.
Publishers removing select items manually simply makes no sense. I would understand if this happened only to the delisted games like Magic 2015, or events (so that publishers could profit more from the community market sales of rare items), but it is happening to both old and new games, cheap and expensive items alike. What's more important, it spreads to more and more titles recently. The randomness of these occurences is what made me think it's a bug on Steam's end.
