I am wondering why most games in nsfw genre, have a male protagonist ?

So I wonder that.
Most of the adult novel genre has a male protagonist.
I mean like games like college kings or being a d i k.
Games that are from nsfw genre are few in number, short, and rather not good.
I mean games like "Inside Jennifer" that have a female protagonist have mixed reviews but games that have male protagonists like college kings have very good positive reviews and being a d i k has overwhelmingly positive reviews.
I wonder why those games are mostly dominated by male protagonists.
I love playing mass effect with female Shepard.
So what do you think?
I personally have no clue.

1) It was an example of me prefering a female protagonist.
2) Maybe true
3) Some men prefer to play as girls in game, some prefer to play as guys. Till my 30's i prefered to play a guy but now i prefer to play a girl in my games.
There are also girls who prefer to play as man in their games.
Life is strange base, before the storm and True colors have female protagonists and yet a lot of guys played them despite it having no male protagonist option.

Granted, it's going to pick up games that have an improperly applied user-defined tag of "female protagonist" (for the same reason some folks apply the "Multiplayer" tag to games that are Singleplayer-only), but there's a list of games from pretty much any genre that have you playing as a female character.

the reason why some have better reviews then others could be a lot of reasons from story to music to bad controls. if a game is buggy it will also have bad reviews or poor translations/spelling errors.
