I have two Steam accounts and it sucks

Will Steam ever allow us to amalgamate 2 accounts? I ended up with 2 accounts because I lost
my user data then found it all again but had already created another account and started installing games.

Family sharing is your best option.

No there no merge accounts, and I doubt there will be in the future.

It's responsibility to manage your account, that why get a book to write your account info, or get a password manager.

You can do family share between your two accounts, so don't have to keep switching, but keep in mind, not all games can be family shared normally multiplayer games.

Highly unlikely this will happen. Just family share one account with the other to access most, if not all of it's games on the other account

Chances are virtually zero as there is no benefit for Steam in allowing people to do so, while there would be many negatives for them - i.e. high potential for abuse.

Share the games if possible. Hopefully you did not spend too much money on the secondary.

If you mean the games on account then no, as there no game transfer to other accounts.

Sure, at Valve's end. Asking on a forum will probably just draw a blank, because it isn't a common service, but I'm sure if you politely asked support and could prove ownership of both accounts I don't see why Steam, Origin or whoever would refuse it. Wouldn't you want happy customers?

Completely false, please don't give people false hope if you have no idea what you are talking about. Support will not do it. Too many chances for abuse, regrets, etc.

OP - try support. Origin offered me this option when I had two accounts with two emails.

I didn't say it did or that Valve would do it. If they did it would be good customer service at Valve's discretion, which is why I suggested politeness.

Valve doesn't merge accounts because scammers would have a field day. Especially since we've had people get into ownership disputes because accounts are sold and bought.

Anyways,

OP, the best you can do is to just family share one account with the other. It won't help for any mp online stuff but it's useful for anything else.

Also, it's best to decide which you prefer to be the main account and just stick to that one.
