Steam needs maintenance badly the download speed I'm experiencing is really slow my ISP even said theirs is really slow to with unusual download times

The fact you keep ignoring this speaks volumes. I can't help you if you can't provide me with anything.

Do you actually want to try and solve this?

If you don't know what I'm asking about, then please by all means ask. All I need to see is what's happening WHILE you download a game. Name the game, and give some data as to what your system resources are doing while it's downloading.

Again it's not my resources. I would know if it is by the degraded performance BUT that has never happened. So it's NOT my resources.

Well, I can't help you then if we can't look at the data. We have to use process of elimionation so if it ain''t that, we can discount it, but we need to see the evidence first.

Bruh you are not helping it's either steam or my switch one of the 2 but I know for a fact it's nothing with my software.

If users with gigabit connections are telling you their downloads are fine, and you're not providing the useful information that can help, it's safe to say the issue is not on Steams end.

It CANNOT be Steam's end or we'd all get this service, wouldn't we?

So we need to use process of elimination by you providing the dataq for us to work through.

if you are unwilling to do this, then sorry, but we can't help you.
