i bought this game only for trading cards and i've played it 15 hrs and didn't get any trading card from it and if i try to play it again i can play it for hours and get nothing anyone knows why ?

Only the ones who are shady. The legit key sellers get them directly from publishers. I've gotten plenty of trading cards from games activated by key.

Yep, unless it's an 'add to account' with limitations giveaway on Steam or a developer-specified complimentary key made available through a 3rd party site, you will receive cards as normal if available.

even the free ones lmao i've gotten alot of games from diffrent sites for free as giveaways and if the game had trading cards i would get them yea there are games that do not but most of them do

Yes, a giveaway on Steam by the developer (ergo game is 100% discounted) does not drop cards. Correct. But that has nothing to do with buying games from key seller sites, which was what your previous statement was about.

All keys are listed as retail. The description is what matters because that defines the type of key i.e complimentary. promotional etc...

i think i found the problem but im not 100% sure i got it 2 times the free promotion and the normal one i removed the free promo one and now i only have the normal one that i think im not sure i purchased it or got it from humble bundle along side 2 other dlc packs keep in mind that at the time humble bundle gave games that you could farm trading cards from them soo yea

If it says you got drops remaining you got drops remaining, regardless how you got it, if it shows that then you know if it should drop or not

As was said refunds lately could effect cards drops fro a while after
The time to play to get the cards are set by the developers (I did not seem to keep the link of where that was posted) so time may be longer for some games even really long before you see drops

I've received keys from Humble, Groupee's, Fanatical, and Indie Gala, and if the games had trading cards on Steam, I got them.

Well if you got card drops keep going, they will drop sooner or later most likely

You can also try possible to start and stop the game and see if that helps

i would try again in the future and no i didn't get any from the drops remaining and i have 15 hrs on record
