Steam on chrome and on my PC just wont want to load

This problem persists for weeks now. Tried doing all the steps on the internet and so far none work. Edge and my phone browsers work just fine.

Have to also mention that it also stumps all loads through the Steam UI (opening a google tab in the steam browser extension). Trade offers don't work, steam site on Chrome won't load, friends list updates at random intervals and even my icons are starting to disappear. its benign annoying!

Anyone can help me out on this?

I get all sorts of store issues with game store pages not loading with steam and i use Firefox. If i close steam and try to open it instantly it just wont load again.

My problem is that no pages load. None! For some reason Microsoft Edge works well with all the steam pages and I don't know if it's an ISP problem.

If they work with edge then it isn't a isp problem but a issue on your end.

You may have try this already, but in case you did not
Try to open Steam settings and go to
Web Browser - then delete web browser data
Also, try in Interface to turn off GPU accelerated rendering and see if any of that helps, maybe?

If you have solve it another way with support, please don't forget to come back and type how for others

do you have any mods on chrome ? sorry i guess they're called 'extensions' - i notice some adblockers and trackerblockers are pretty heavy handed and can stop websites from loading entirely as they're flagging the wrong things as trackers.

tried doing a linux partition and install chrome on linux and see if you can load it from there?? its pretty lightweight, and kind of a quick way to troubleshoot if there's a local problem with your os.

Ok new theory! On Edge it worked, but when I moved all my Google data (logged with my account into the browser) suddenly it stopped working again! Besides my Google account being the reason why it might be it (which would make NO SENSE) last resort is to look through my router and see if steam is not restricted in any way, shape or form.

I did also find this reddit thread (here) and I hope it's not that situation. I'll keep you updated. Until the weekend I'll post again.

Just recommend try disabing your Ad blocker and outher adons that deal with the web pages and see if anything changes?
Maybe one of them is messing it up?

Also by the way dose it work on the client?

Had done it to no avail. Same result.

Also No! Client barely is able to show library and friends, and those without any icons. Did verify integrities installed and reinstalled apps left and right. One last weekend of troubleshooting before calling it quits as others did in 2014 ish.

Tor and/or VPN for specific uses. Firefox or Icecat with some hardening for general use.

Or a hardware Pihole or Privacy Router.
