Getting a temp warning type of ban for posting a perfectly fine screenshot?

Imagine playing cod for the first time in 2 years. You play for a bit and get noobtubed, then again, then bombarded with rpg and oma times 50x. You write a bunch of 'fun words' in the game chat like the adult kid you are and leave the game. You decide to post a perfectly fine game ending killcam screenshot of the 'noobtuber', but you add the '3 letter word starting with f and ending with g'.

And then you get 1 day 'content upload' banned, because someone was offended from a censored word, not because of the 'graphic' screenshot of a guy carrying an rpg, but from that one word.

Now I don't have anything against lgbtq people as I got a few said friends myself, I'm even from a friendly community supporting said group, but to get offended from a caption from one in-game screenshot? There's so much worse stuff out there that hasn't gotten banned yet, people commenting even worse slurs who haven't been banned yet, but apparently someone was offended here.

what offends you is different then what offends others. what you find funny others dont find funny.

it does not matter if there is worse stuff out there, there are rules and you are expected to follow them. if you wish to appeal your ban, reply to the ban notice. remember, you cant see what action has been taken against others.

Behaving yourself isn't rocket surgery. Making excuses for your behavior and complaining about the consequences of it isn't a very strong argument. Unless that argument is, "Look at me, I still have some growing to do, but am not aware of it yet."

Should I really look up all the stuff others are writing in this community, CLEARLY abusing said guidelines and not getting whatever they deserve? I don't need you to regurgitate said guidelines, but rather tell me what would've been wrong with a screenshot, with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ screenshot.

The title is part of the screenshot and can't be removed on it's own

Just editing the caption works? And even if its literally a 12h ban that doesn't appear anywhere, but just as a warning, its still messed up in a way. And I don't even know if that was the case, for all I know I got mass reported by some kids just because and the mods saw the caption and decided to do something about it.

There is a one day ban for a banned screenshot/artwork. There is no 12 hour bans.

Mass reports don't do anything. It only takes one report for it to be looked into.

When an item is banned, the ban from uploading screenshots/artwork is automatically applied.

If you wish to contest the ban, or have questions about the ban, you need to contact support.

But from what I see, the ban was correctly applied.

Going by your 'correctly applied' thing, half of the csgo community should be banned as well for the racial slurs said alone. That 12h thing was just something I made up, but yeah I'm contesting the ban. Anyways have a nice day and feel free to mark this discussion as solved.
