Do not use Skrill with Steam because they will take your money, and you not get the game.

I tried it both in the Steam windows client, and in the browser, and I got the same result both times. The money is taken from the Skrill account, confirmation email is sent, but steam never sees the transaction.

And you can not even get the refund, because steam list the transaction as pending.

Basically, it does not work.

the "recipient" in this case refers to Steam.

2 days ago, i went to buy a game on steam forgetting to check whether my CPU Specs meets the minimum requirement to run the game.

after starting the game, i found out that the FPS is below 10 even with settings set to the lowest.

i then quit the game, and found out my CPU Specs especially my graphics card driver fail to meet the minimum requirement.

you know what i did next, i asks for a refund for the game giving the reason i stated in my above sentences.

24 hours later, the $$$ was refunded to my Steam Wallet.

Well, if it is "pending" for two hours, the "instantaneous" transaction obviously does not work.

Why do they even have the option listed on the payment options is a mystery.

Some payment methods can take days, in brazil we have one called boleto bancário that is tax free, it take 3 bussines days but never less than 24 hours to complete.

Nope, it's not.

In the early days of paypall it could take way longer.

Also for crypto payments 1-2 hour wait times for verification are normal.

Do you have a confirmation email that the transaction was denied?

If not you'll have to wait until the transaction has been cleared and has actually gone through, it's quite normal that it has already dissapeared from your bank acount though.

Following up on this thread: I'm pretty sure I have the exact same issue that the OP had. Essentially, SKRILL used to have a very simple website when being connected through STEAM. Somewhere along the line they updated their referral website to be "snappier" and more stylish. The problem: this website ALWAYS leads to "Pending" issues with STEAM and whichever vendor is handling the payment between STEAM and SKRILL. This issue doesn't happen on the older legacy website. This is a problem because, at least for me, SKRILL bounces between layouts randomly and so, if you see the newer layout you will get an error; if the older one it goes through as normal.

Most likely they've either changerd something in their backend or they may have changed payment provider they work through. That's quite common with third party payments.

So it may be their infranstructure is a bit wonky now, or it could be that who they've changed to might not be so good.

By akll means keep an eye on it and keep updating here.

Yes, a multi billion Dollar Company needs the Money so bad, that they scam a couple bucks from their Customers, afterall, theyve only been in the Business for over 2 Decades.

same problem here. Purchased steam balance via skrill - first the transaction were on hold , then got canceled and now the money has been charged from my skrill account already.

Contacted the support , still waiting for an proper answer.
