Upcoming sales: https://steamdb.info/sales/history/

You'll notice no Spring sale, it;s the only season without an actual sale. Summer, Autumn and Winter do have one, though.

Valve didn't have a Spring Cleaning event last year either. They did an Open World sale last year instead.

And it looks like we are going to get a Racing themed sale this time, instead of Spring Cleaning.

No badge or actual "Cleaning" event pretty much negates the whole aspect of the Spring Cleaning event.

There was never a real sale tied to the Spring event. Titles just happened to be on sale during and around the event. Spring Cleaning was mainly about going through your backlog of games and playing them while trying out new games and features like Remote Play Together.

It already started to smell funny. Seriously, with all the seasonal eventsalready in place, they likely won't start a spring sale tradition this year.

All you can do is look at historical data, as given already.

Sure, they might but they equally might not.

Given that coronavirus happened and all the other crap going on, it seems less likely.

Last year they had the "Golden Week" sale in late April - early May.

Many games are already on sale now without a Steam event.

Put the games onto your wish list and have Steam tell you when they go on sale. I got an email today with quite the stuff from my wish list on sale.
